Well, what we DO need is a law, or a Constitutional Amendment, that makes it mandatory for a candidate for President to submit documentary proof of citizenship to an independent board before he’s put on the ballot.

The problem is that Obama’s Certification Of Live Birth (COLB)would fulfill that requirement. There is a statement at the bottom of every State of Hawaii issued COLB which says: “This copy serves as prima facie evidence of the fact of birth in all court proceedings.”
Those COLB’s have the state seal, a registration mark, the signature of the state registrar of records and a registration number. They are used to secure a US Passport.
And on top of all that, the Director of the state health department has confirmed Obama’s birth in Hawaii and his Natural Born Citizen status:
“I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barrack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen.
I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago,” Fukino said, in hopes of ending the controversy surrounding Obama’s citizenship.” —7/28/09
