"On July 29, the University of Washington e-mailed WND Dunham's complete grade transcript covering her attendance at the university. The university confirmed Dunham's classes starting in the fall of 1961 were night classes. The transcript clearly documents that Dunham was enrolled at the University of Washington for two classes that began on Aug. 19, 1961: Anthropology 100, "Introduction to the Study of Man" and Political Science 201, "Modern Government.""
The interview with the babysitter is interesting and provides support for the time line that put her physically in Seattle in February 1962--it doesn't provide any support for Corsi's proposition (derived from the U of W records) that she was on campus taking classes on August 19.
We have seen another document confirming that the classes for which she was registered fall quarter 1961 were extension classes which she could have been taking from anywhere. Which is consistent with my own recollection.
Corsi's August 19 date for physical attendance at classes is wrong. He may think he got it from the U of W but his description of emails and the like is a little suspect. Careful inquiry would confirm the state of facts.
If she was in a night class in fall quarter, classes started in the last week of September or the first week of October. She wasn't in class at Washington on August 19.
Yes, I noticed the discrepancy in dates. The baby sitter said they were “night” classes — presumably because that’s when she baby sat little Barry. But, she also says it was in January and February of 1962. She does not corraborate the rocord for August, 1961.
I think 1961 was when Ann was staying with her mother’s friend — before she’d moved into the 3 apartment house managed by Toutonghi. And Toutonghi says that she moved into her own house that she and her husband purchased at the end of Feb. 1962 and her relationship with Ann Dunham ended.
The UW records that I have seen either are too dim to read, or they don’t mention Aug. 1961. In any case, that class didn’t start until the end of Sept. 1961. Where was Ann Obama staying during that month? Aug-Sept, 1961.
