If I was going to release this as an opener I wouldn't give the enemy the best possible resolution as that would give 'em ALL the little quirks to work with for producing their counter-copy...but that's just me....

Good point; if distraction was the motive. Someone had to know that the Bomford cert would be found. Did they hack into it, disassemble it put it back together and then repost it? I saw an interview with this Bomford guy. His story was just too refined for me to buy the “caught up in” line. Of course it could all be true or not. Until a reputable source looks at the original book (if it can be found) all is some speculation. <p. At this point just keeping the heat on seems to be working.

Good point. For the same reason you'll never see photographers posting full res and full range images they hope to sell on their web sites. Besides, the hundreds of megabyte to gigabyte images would load a bit slowly for most users. Presuming Taitz’ supplier is worldly about such things (I seem to recall that one of her plaintiffs has a military intelligence background), the would anticipate an attempt at sabotage. What, after all, are Obama and his shadow government about if not misdirection?
