...many folks save that stuff. I saved my sons.”

When Obama was rifling through Granny’s paperwork as a teen and he
“ discovered “
the newspaper interview with BHO Sr about his graduation from college folded among his birth certificate ( Pge 26 Dreams ..)and vaccination records,
this clipping was not mentioned.
Or apparently saved by Toot.
From reading Dreams From My Father ,
it appears that this family who had stories and family folklore about every mundane situation possible-
never talked about Barry’s birth.
DFMF is literary Ambien.
Every single page is a verbal tornado of minutiae and eye glazing details .
However, there is not one single detail or family story about his birth retold in the book.
Not one.
Just four words about his birth weight.
The absence of any mention stands out like a flashing red beacon considering how excessively he writes about everything else.
Obama worships the idea of BHO Sr in the book .
His birth stories would have compelled him to go on and on and write something about his imposing ebony skinned African father pacing the halls of the hospital,
intimidating everyone else in the waiting room with his booming voice and broad shoulders,
while Gramps and Toot chain smoked
Lucky Strikes while sitting in the cracked plastic seats for the 20 hours of his mother’s labor.
And yet-the sound of crickets .
He does write on page 22 from DFMF about his parent’s marriage.
Page 22 “How and when the marriage occured remains a bit murky ,” and he says he never had the courage to explore the truth.
“ There’s no record of a real wedding, a cake , a ring, a giving away of the bride .”
“ No families in attendance..”
No relatives were informed.
But, after writing that he says (I believe this to be a leap )
that it was just a small civil ceremony with a JP.
But that’s how his grandparents wanted this “ haphazard “ wedding.
“ A trial that would pass as long as they maintained a stiff upper lip
and didn’t do anything drastic.”
They were not happy having a girl barely out of high school
“ in trouble “ by an older , African man.
Next paragraph on page 22 is the only reference to his birth.
“First the baby arrived, eight pounds, two ounces...”
The unhappy attitude of the Dunhams ( guess they weren’t such liberated hippies after all ) lends credence to Grandma trying to legitimize an embarrassing situation by calling in a birth announcement.
Maybe she even upgraded their living or non cohabitating arrangement by giving them a better address.
Chris Matthews and Bill O’Reilly say that “ birthers “ believe the announcement to be the start “ of the conspiracy.”
Huh ? I’ve never seen anyone say that and it makes us sound kooky-which is their goal.
Since these two put such credence in 49 year old undocumented and unsourced newspaper clippings ,
does the newspaper interview that Barry discovered ( pge 26 )where his father ( not the newspaper writer )
makes no mention of a wife and son
( to Barry’s chagrin )using their standard
mean that he was not the father ?

I “thought” Barry wrote that HIS birth certificates shot record and his mother’s also......were MISSING from the family records

Seems this might have been about the time (1980/81) he was gathering documents to get himself a social security card and/or passport (need shot records) or admission/ scholarship to Occidental

If he never found his personal records - what did he do?
He writes as if he never confronted his mother or grandmother (huh) because he couldn’t bear to know (know what)...”maybe if she had lived I would have asked her” (huh? She died in 1995 - Barry visited her in Pakistan-twice- she was dying at Sloan Kettering in NYC while Barry was community organizing in Chicago and he never went to visit her- she went to Honolulu to die and he came only after she was dead and cremated

Maybe got his scholarships and traveled on his Indonesian passport under his adopted paperwork identifying him as Barry Soetero. And got really angry at his white relatives for not being truthful with him about his past, which he thereafter proceeded to expand on and embellish profoundly.

Not to mention that terrorist Bill Ayers co-wrote the book.

Didn’t help that Grandpa Obama sent them a letter telling them how upset he was that his bloodline would be sullied with a white girl.
