And yes, just like "photo shopping" a pic, a file create and/or mod timestamp can be programmaticly modified (i.e. falsified) as well. Guess we'll have to wait for the actual document to be "expertly" verified (IF that ever happens).

Yep, and it's easy.

Here, try it. Double-click on the time on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.

Change it from today's date to the same date in 2007.

Create a document, edit it, and save it. It'll be time stamped in 2007.

Just be sure to change the year back to 2009 when you're done or when you send an email out from Outlook, Eudora, etc., no one will be able to find your message as it would be chronologically arranged with any other emails from two years ago.
