Age? I’m going to be 64 ina short few days. I was noting that the sharpness doesn’t fit with the faded condition of the other lettering and numbering. The “E” in the fake of the “K” version is sharper and darker too. The “6” in the first edition is faded at it’s top of the number, but the fake has a clearer “O” and is sharper, not as faded in appearance.
That is consistent with how manually typewritten documents age. Some letters contain more ink that was pounded into the paper and stay dark and sharp, and some do not have much at all and fade quickly.
I do not find this alarming but reassuring.
