Why wouldn’t they put it on their documents?? The 12/64 date didn’t mean anything to them. They were admitted to UN in 12/1963.

Well I read their original constitution, looked at all their pre-December64 stamps and bank notes until my eyes dried up. "Republic of Kenya" is not there. Anywhere. :(
The question isn't why they would or wouldn't, but whether they did or not, and so far, there's no evidence they did.

No, 12/64 was a big deal to the dictator Kenyatta. At the original act of independence, Kenyatta was part of a parliament type government. In 1964 it was changed to make him “President” (much like Castro is “President” by leading a revolution and then taking over) and didn’t give up his seat until he died in 1978.
