I spent quite a bit of time arguing the Swift Boat Veterans case on a primarily non-political message board and it still amazes me not only how obvious it was that the majority of the media never read the book Unfit for Command (as I did) but also how many clear inconsistencies there were in so many of Kerry’s stories, far beyond what was documented in that book and it still irks me that the press characterizes the whole episode as an unsupported and false allegation. When it comes to Democrats, we have a See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil mainstream media.
I was a member of the site back then.. and I have Unfit for Command next to me in my bookshelf. Read it twice. I agree, even the ones that claimed they read it wouldn’t have the patience in the first place.
