She went to Mombasa to fly back to the U.S. but was prevented by the airlines from boarding her flight due to her advanced pregnancy and, shortly thereafter, gave birth in Mombasa?I'm looking for something that would definitively tie her to Mombasa. If it was merely to fly home, Nairobi is the capitol city and a whole lot closer to the ancestral village, so why not Nairobi? It's about 200 miles closer. I don't think travel in Kenya in the early 1960's was very easy or fast.
