Don't know if this site is more reliable, but they list 12 December 1963 to 12 December 1964 as "Dominion of Kenya" and after that as "Republic of Kenya."

I reviewed the site and found numerous “wiki” links. I will discount it based on another reference I found from an online book based in the UK. I would rather not link it for obvious reasons. If you have noticed many online references have been update in the past week, including the CIA worldbook. Something to think about. See post 3463.
