The document shown here in FR is a certified copy of the birth certificate. It does not matter that the copy has the date on the bottom as February 17, 2004. This was when the deputy registrar signed the certified copy.

Also please check post#374 by Marguerite. She has posted the copy of the Degree of Divorce which was filed March 5th 1964 and signed by the judge March 20, 1964.

On that Schmutz thing: This is a font that was designed to mimick a typewriter.

So, either this is a hoax, made on a computer but fashioned to look like it was typed on a 1960’s typewriter — or it is real and it WAS actually fashioned on a 1960’s typewriter.

That number 47044 is one hell of a “coincidence,” though. Right now I’m leaning toward hoax.

The February 17, 2004 copy date is intriging too. It means someone has had this copy since then. Wasn’t it 2004 when Obama seemed to bust out on the national stage with his DNC speech? Perhaps someone ‘investigated’ him way back then and has had this info all along.

BTW....Where was Obama in Febuary 2004?
