Ping to Sheriff Arpaio apparently being charged under wrong federal statute! Statute has expired and his case is under emergency appeal at the 9th Circuit. (sorry, I am behind a few days due to family vacation)

Gallups lets out that Federal agents have “in the past few days” have been talking to Zullo, IIRC, meaning that someone in the Trump Admin, hopefully in Sessions DOJ, has been talking to him. I doubt it was the FBI!

Also Zullo says the Judge in Arpaio’s case went out of his way to introduce the birth certificate stuff and the Montgomery stuff into the case for political purposes to try to remove Arpaio from office...or at least that is the appearance of the situation from the deliberate use of a WRONG statute to charge Arpaio just to drag things out to the next election.
