In fact in just the last few days you have posted quit a few times to people who have not posted to you directly in other threads not just this one, but then again you declared in this post" Your approach appears to be to think about things & then throw questions out for consideration & possible discussion. Nothing in the world wrong w that. It’s a discussion forum, after all. Carry on." Right after you wrote this There are drama queens on the thread. Pay no attention to them in that post yet as I pointed out you are the one that inserted yourself into the discussion and obviously can't take your own "pay no attention to them" advice! And I would note that you didn't ping that drama queens either.

Brown Deer since Sunday has posted comments to 18 other people on a variety of other threads, started 1 thread, and made comments to 14 different people on this thread besides you. You were included in 6 post along with others and 5 post directly to you. That is 11 comments to you from Brown Deer or 0.183 dozen comments/day to you.
Brown Deer has made incredible contributions to the FReerepublic in many areas including at the beginnings of this very thread that caused me to join just a few days after this thread started.
Brown Deer does not have mental issues, Fred Nerks is not an idiot or nuts.
I’m going to clarify this one more time. There is a person on this site who posted to me for close to a yr w’out getting any reply from me at all. [Nor, needless to say, did I ever post to him. Perish the thought.] Almost ever single one of his posts to me was an insult.
It became an obsession w him. It got to where I couldn’t post anything at all w’out this individual responding w vile, gratuitous insults. At one time JR had advised to ignore this type of behavior. I did that, & it only revved this individual up more & more
Over time the insults became more frequent & increasingly disgusting. At that point it was stalking pure & simple. I appealed to JR for relief. I received it, to a degree. The obsessed individual is still posting to me; he just tries to do it indirectly. Note that I never post to him. He remains obsessed w my comments, however, & cannot seem to ignore anything I say.
It’s weird, anti-social behavior. I guess as long as he refrains from posting to me directly there’s nothing I can do. I wish it were otherwise, but an obsession is an obsession, & it sadly doesn’t look like this one is going away.
