SvenMagnussen has not yet provided a link to the 1973 tax code to support this claim. The tax code as of 1973 has provisions for claiming dependent grandchildren living in the home provided that the child is not claimed by the parent from what I see in the 1954 IRS code as amended prior to the 1986 revision. Lolo and Ann not claiming Barry is consistent with the Dunhams claiming him beginning in 1972 with his full year student residency.
SvenMagnissen has provided no proof that Barry was NOT a de facto US citizen in 1973. The INS FOIA docs and newspaper birth notices corroborate that at a minimum a live birth of a US citizen Hawaii resident was reported to HDOH making Barry a de facto US citizen.
Barry may have also been registered as a UK subject and adopted by Lolo as an Indonesian citizen in Indonesia, but that there has been NO evidence I have seen that his US citizenship was removed.

Without the false narrative Obama lived with his grandparents as a U.S. Citizen, then we can only conclude his parents couldn’t claim him on their 1973 tax return because he was not a U.S. citizen in 1973. With the false narrative provided by “Dreams”, any ConcernedFreeper would surmise the Paynes identified Obama as a dependent on their tax return because he was a U.S. Citizen or U.S. resident living with them the entire year and providing over half his support.
We know from the Strunk FOIA that Stanley Ann applied for a U.S. passport in Jan. 1972 for travel to Indonesia, to “return home” for an “indefinite” stay. In Aug. 1968, Stanley Ann amended her passport to include(exclude) Barack Hussein Obama (Soebarkah). In Jan. 1968, Barry Soetoro, son of Lolo Soetoro, born in Honolulu, HI and Indonesian National was enrolled in St. Francis of Assisi Elementary, Djakarta, Indonesia.
There is certainly enough publicly available information to sustain an allegation Obama has an immigration file with DHS and the file contains evidence Obama is not eligible for POTUS.

We dont have independently generated b.c. from the hospital,
what MIGHT have happened is his granny dunham filed the “home birth” type of b. c., and the newspaper announcements came from that.
Also the INS could have been shown that home birth doc and referenced “USC” in the wood memo.
0 could be Dual USC/British, but certainly not NBC; his British citizenship came from his dad; fightthesmears had statement to that effect (but I think its been scrubbed from the site )
Following on from my #11337, those home birth b.c.’s could be filled out for people that weren’t even born in Hawaii or in the u.s. for that matter.
That’s the problem, Hawaii had EXTREMELY loose requirements back then.
