You've got to get off that there were two Dunham daughters track, there has never never ever been any indication that there's any substance to that. There WAS a Shirley Applebee who married an unrelated Dunham, and for a while people were running around looking for Shirley. Stick with what you can see in front of your nose, it's difficult enough keeping up with the numerous characters and their comings and goings,and their dubious identities -without creating more.
Btw, Ruth Beatrice Baker married Simeon Ndesandjo in Kenya, Mark appears to have indicated in an article that his parents separated when he was eight years old. He was born in 1965, the year after Ruth arrived in Kenya and married the kenyan on Christmas Eve 1964.
That would suggest they were still a couple in 1973. That's two years after the kenyan showed up for his Hawaii 'visit'
