Can anyone see what I am getting at? The LFBC shows the father's age as 25. That's a birth year of 1936.

Three weeks after the miracle birth in Hawaii, on the 31st of August, 1961, the 'father' provides a birth year of 1934. And forgets he has children...after crossing out the name of his wife and replacing it with ANN S DUNHAM.

Now why would I be under the impression that the 'parents' weren't communicating very well...

British Citizenship by Descent

“Do I qualify for a British Passport if my Mother or Father is British?” This is one of the most common questions faced in assessing British Nationality. We set out below the criteria and requirements to qualify for British Nationality by Descent and to a British Passport by Descent - that is, qualifying through a parent.

To discover whether you are entitled to a British Passport because a parent is British or was born in the UK, take 2 minutes to complete our FREE Nationality Search...

British Citizenship by Descent is based on birth outside of the United Kingdom to a parent who is British or was born in the UK. Your date of Birth and the status of your parent is crucial in determining whether that parent can pass British Nationality to you. As a general rule, you qualify for British Citizenship if a parent was British Other Than by Descent at the time of your birth.

British Citizens (i.e. those who hold full British Nationality and the right to carry a British Passport) can be divided into two categories:

British by Descent
British Other Than by Descent
For more information on how British Nationality could be acquired by Descent from a British Parent, then watch this short video by Philip Gamble:

British Nationality by Descent

Being “British by Descent” is the less powerful. It does not give the right to automatically pass on British Nationality to one’s children born outside the UK. It is a status achieved ONLY because your parent was British.

Being “British Other than by Descent” is the more powerful. It covers all those categories other than a British Citizen by Descent. With such a status, you can pass on British Nationality to your children, irrespective of where they are born.

The solutions that WhatPassport.com have discovered under this category are:

British Citizenship by Descent (1981-2-2)-Crown Service: Parent was British and working in UK Crown Service at the time of applicant’s birth.

British Citizenship by Descent (Born before 1983): Applicant born outside of UK before 01.01.1983 to father who was British other than by Descent.

British Citizenship by Descent (PG-UKM2010): Applicant born outside of UK before 01.01.1983 to mother who was born in the UK or who was registered as a CUKC in a Commonwealth country before the applicant’s birth.

British Citizenship by Descent (1981-11): Conversion of any Citizen of the UK and Colonies (CUKC) who held Right of Abode.

British Citizenship by Descent (British Parent other than from Descent): Applicant born outside of UK to parent who was British other than by Descent at time of applicant’s birth.

Dates of interest as I have them.

8/31/1961 Obama Senior files for extension. List spouse as Stanley Ann Dunham. Does NOT list Obama II as child in extension. Form list Obama Senior Birth Date as 1934 (not 1936) in his own hand….

6/22/1962 BHO Sr. leaves Hawaii

9/17/1962 Obama Senior writes extension request. In request he indicates his birth date is in 1936 and not 1934. He list ‘Married’ but no spouse name. List child ‘Roy’.

9/18/1962 Lolo Soetoro comes to US.

9/20/1962 SAD returns to Hawaii from Washington. Lives with parents.

6/6/1963 BHO Senior writes extension request with birth date of 1936 instead of 1934. Form is mostly typed. Fields for Spouse and Child are blank. Hand written admin note and arrow to proper indicates ‘He is married’.

6/15/1963-9/1/1963 Lolo Soetoro does ‘mainland tour’ at Northwestern U and Wisconsin U. Dates are not exact.

12/12/1963 Kenya becomes independent.

1/20/1964 Date Stanley Ann signs paper swearing to mistreatment - paper is filed in divorce.

1/23/1964 Filing of Obama Stanley Ann Divorce

3/8/1964 Final divorce Decree for SAD and BHO Sr.

4/21/1964 Obama files extension request. DOB in own hand is 1936 and form list Obama II as USC son who is 2 years old and list SAD as wife (untrue since divorce was final).

4/24/1964 Sukarno arrives in the US. Officially greeted by President Kennedy.

7/6/1964 BHO Sr. leaves US.

Based on these documents Obama adopts a new birth date in between August 31, 1961 and September 17, 1962. In between these dates is when he moved from Hawaii to Harvard.

I have speculated he did this for one of the following reasons:

a) to ‘match-up’ the incorrect date on Obama II’s forms.

or

b) He needed to be younger for some reason at Harvard or to stay in the US or some other reason.

It is not just sloppiness by him or administrators. Its in his own hand. He changed it. And once he changed it the 1936 was used continuously. To this day you will find the 1936 date as the ‘official’ date in biographies, etc. No reporter or investigator or government official has ever explained why he changed his birth date.
