He was interviewed September 19, 1959 in an article that appeared in The Saturday Star Bulletin, in which he was described as a 25 year old Business Administration Major.

Kenya had no higher education institutions, the high school at Maseno from which he graduated was a trade school. Where then, was he educated to enable him to take up a university scholarship?

Maybe 0 SR took correspondence courses? How common was it back then?

Kenyan airlift of students was a program set up back then to get them a better education BECAUSE of no university there.
