Fred Nerks computer was wiped out when he clicked a link to Orly’s site the other day. The link was posted by Brown Deer. The link was removed by the mods.

Fred said he paid $650 for repairs.

Yeah, I heard. Unfortunately, sounds like Fred lost not only actual money, but LOTS of docs on Barry and whatever else he had on the computer. A number of folks have had some issues with her site.

Fortunately for me, I haven't yet.

The tech may have ripped me off...he explained it would cost more to try to retrieve what was on the harddrive (if there was anything still there) than for me to buy a new computer. Which I did.
I had back-up until last November, so I downloaded that. I still don’t understand how it happened. My screen went black.
Freeper matt1 had a similar experience.

But unlike the experience freeper matt1 described in his post above, I was logged onto FR at the time, and accessed the Taitz website through the document posted on the thread, which was linked to Taitz website.

I tried Orly’s site a couple of times after and without knowing of Fred Nerk’s experience and my computer still working!??!
