No, you’re uncool for slamming the OP instead of helping the OP. Some kids think for themselves regardless of thier parents’ instruction. I wouldn’t call this person a failed parent because I don’t even know them or thier kids.

OK, maybe the failed parent part wasn't the best wording, i'll give you that much. Partially failed would be muchmore appropriate. However, if my kid wre to grow up racist like his, I would feel like a failed parent.
