I STRAFED THE OBJECT WITH 35MM SHELLS. SOME HIT THE GROUND BUT SOME HIT THE OBJECT WITHOUT ANY EFFECT.

TWO MORE TIMES I HAD THE OBJECT TARGETED . . . IT WOULD MOVE AWAY AT THE LAST MINUTE . . .

IT STOPPED . . . I CAME WITHIN 300 FEET OF THE UFO . . . NO WINDOWS, NO ENGINE, NO EXHAUST

I had spent 22 minutes maneuvering with this object. After I landed, the object remained in view for 2 hours.

I was surprised about how the OHare incident was handled. It appears that pressure was applied to crew members by the [airline] companies. I’d have been surprised, shocked if a British company had told me to shut up or that I hadn’t seen what I’d seen.

RAF WOODBRIDGE ENGLAND SR SECURITY OFFICER IN CHARGE OF BASE SECURITY TS CLEARANCE . . .

. . . BRIEFED ME that some lights were seen just outside the gate in Rendlesham forest. He told me that the lights had not crashed. I discounted that and informed . . . that we had a crashed aircraft.

It quickly became apparent that we were not dealing with a crash . . . nor any

9 feet long 6.5 feet high . . . craft fully intact sitting inside a small clearing.

As the 3 of us got closer to the craft . . . we started having radio problems . . .

As we came up on the triagular shaped craft we saw blue . . . lights swirling around the outside of the craft . . . could feel electrical . . . effects on our clothes . . . skin . . .

I determined that the craft was not hostile to my team and our base . . . following protocals . . .

included photographs . . . notebook entries . . . and relays with the radio through airman . . . to our control center . . .

on one side of the craft were symbols that measured 3 inches high that measured 2.5 feet long . . . etched in the surface of the craft . . . warm to the touch . . .

after roughly 45 minutes, the light from the craft began to intensify . . . Burroughs and I then took a defensive position away from the craft . . . it rose in the air without any sound or any air disturbance . . . then it took off at an unbelievable, rate of speed. It was gone in the blink of an eye. I wrote in my log book—speed—impossible.

That night, over 80 Air Force personnel, all trained observers . . . witnessed the takeoff.

Team and witnesses were told to treat the investigation as Top Secret. No further discussion would be allowed.

At the site, we find 3 1.5” indentations -—a plaster cast here with me . . . 9” across . . . forest floor there was very hard packed sand. would have had to have been a very heavy object.

Abnormal radiation

suddenly observed bright oval object with a black center reminded me of an eye . . . appeared to be blinking . . . maneuvered through the trees. moved away when approached . . . broke into 5 objects . . .

one approached at a high speed and sent down a bright light right at our feet that did not radiate—like a laser.

I received a call from the Air Traffic Quality control branch in Alaska . . .

About the UFO that chased the JAL 747 across the Alaskan skies . . .

. . . Hey the guy says—who believes in UFO’s I just need to know what to tell the media. Then I said, wrap it all up.

I want the disc, the tapes, . . . on my desk tomorrow morning.

flight 1628 . . . cargo jet just north or Anchorage . . . closer actually to 05:00

said the UFO was 4 times bigger than the size of his aircraft. Said he saw it with his eyes; co-pilot saw it, other crew member saw it.

UFO jumped miles in seconds. 12 at 8 miles . . . 10 seconds later—it’s 6-7 miles behind them. . . in only 5-6 seconds . . .

after receiving the data . . . briefed my boss . . . Admiral said go to the tech center . . . had created a program that could recreate what had happened on all the instruments.

The print out and radar display . . . target returns were the same as the pilot had asserted.

Of course the CIA said you can’t see it cause it’s not there.

The military controllers also viewed the primary target—they identified it as a DOUBLE PRIMARY—very large.

They were able to see it with their own eyes.

Hey, you have traffic at my altitude?

it’s an unknown—Air traffic controller will track him until he lands and we will write him up.

Pilot said it’s a UFO.

Attitude of air traffic . . . disbelieving.

set up a briefing with the scientific . . . of Reagan’s staff . . . turned out to be CIA . . .

Admiral said I want you to hand it off because the FAA does not control UFO’s I want it out of our turf.

I took a video tape . . . made a copy.

Put on the video . . . they wanted to know the speed, beam width etc.

people were all headquarters engineers . . .

When they got done . . . the CIA SAID . . . to all the people there—THIS EVENT NEVER HAPPENED. WE WERE NEVER HERE. YOU’RE ALL SWORN TO SECRECY. WE ARE CONFISCATING ALL THIS DATA.

and they did.

UFO INCIDENT AT ANCHROAGE . . .

They took all that data.

A few weeks later, they brought in the FAA’s report of the event that never happened. I had them put it on a little table in my office in the corner and I had them put it all there waiting for the CIA to come get it.

I had the tech people put together a chart showing all the targets along the way.

When we got done with this briefing . . . engineers that built all this stuff . . .

said “it’s a software problem” . . . every time so the software guy gets up . . . “it’s a hardware problem” . . . there were no software problems . . .

wellllll what do we have . . . do we have a target there, or not.

One man got up and said “My religion forbids me to believe in UFO’s.”

This stuff stayed in my office for 2 years, specialist packed it all up and shipped it to my house.

Most are not familiar with how the FAA works.

The system today and the organization of the FAA is not configured to identify and to track these types of craft.

As a pilot and former AirForce officer did not resemble any manmade object I’d seen. It was certainly NOT high altitude flares—I’ve never seen flares fly in formation.

So I decided to lighten up the mood of the State by dressing up my chief of staff in an ET suit.

I never meant to ridicule anyone.

Eventually the Air National Guard CLAIMED responsibility . . . that A-10’s had been flying in formation . . .

But those of us . . . know it’s the noisest machine in the sky . . .

So we get these explanations that fly in the face of facts . . .

balloons, swamp gas, software problems . . .

I know I’m not alone in witnessing something extraordinary.

Many high ranking . . . share my concerns.

No doubt as to the veracity of what these men have told you.

QUESTIONS:

BECAUSE THEY DON’T WANT TO ENCOURAGE PUBLIC FEAR. That’s why you can’t know.

Symmington: The only external pressure was the incredible hysterical concern of the public. I’d never seen that kind of reaction. So the 3 of us sat down and considered how we could lighten the mood.

My chief of staff said he’d not put the suit on that it wasn’t part of his job description.

I told him I’d just changed his job description. He said he resigned. I said I wouldn’t accept his resignation—to go put it on. He’s never forgiven me for that.

Part of the problem during that period of time was that the American public didn’t lose confidence in the Air Traffic . . . part of my job was spin control . . .

Right after 2 mid-air collisions . . . we had to construct a twist that the system was safer now than 2 years ago—which was impossible.

We in America are supposed to be the most technical country on the planet. How can we admit someone else is more technical than us when we are having trouble getting across the country without running into one another.
