CHAMA, NM - Several meandering V-shaped UFOs near a mountain slope here turned up on a woman's digital photos. Three photos shot with a 21 megapixel camera caught multiple crafts approaching in the first frame, one craft in frame two moving close to the ground while the others take positions in the sky, and then frame three shows all of the crafts moving out of the area.

It wasn't many years ago when the jackboots would kick in your door for UFO snooping.

Just look what they did to Fox Mulder when he started to get too close to the truth. And that one schizophrenic guy on the history channel. It's gotta be an implant I tells ya. Oh, it's just a piece of iron? CONSPIRACY!!!!!!!111ONE

That’s because you are reading between lines that don’t exist.

PART IV Political Consideratons

Given the existing political climate in the US and the unstable conditions in Europe, it is the considered opinion of the members, that if the Administration went public with the information as found in this report now, the results would be damaging, even fatal to the world political structure as it now exists. The following considerations were reviewed and debated which lead the mission to the following opinions:
a. Public trust of the political institutions may be eroded and possibly held in disrepute.
b. A complete revisioning make take place among institutions of higher learning, thus calling into question the certainty of scientific knowledge.
c. The ability of the Armed Forces to secure National Security would be put in jeopardy and possibly lead to undie public fear and disorder.
d. (Blotted out)
e. History and religion in the political context would probably suffer the most damage causing unprecedented upheaval in social and psychological well-being.
f. Political repercussions may occur in our diplomatic efforts of containing the Communist treat to our diplomatic interests.
g. If such an announcement were made by the current Administration, it could be percieved by the opposing party as a trick, laying open the accusations of unethical posturing and manipulation of the public's mind.

... We feel that such a disclosure would most certainly cause great embarressment to our elected officials and to the military, not to mention the panic felt by the citizenry. To counter such a threat, it is recommended that a conterintelligence program be drawn up and held in abeyance if at such time the situation should present itself. It might be suggested that we should make a preempted use of these objects for the purpose of phychological warfare once the true nature of these objects are known and understood.

To further assist and aid all MAJCOM in the US and overseas, it is recommended that a standard intelligence reporting system be implemented through standard reporting channels with technical data forwarding instructions. At present, there is no specific intelligence guidelines available to military commanders in dealing with sightings and material evidence collection. It would be advisable for the respective Secretaries of the Armed Forces to devise a security policy of plausible denial, if and when the public becomes aware of the reality of these objects and the interest of the military of such incidents.

In conclusion, for reasons o national security and the public well-being, the US must be perceived as being the top of the heap, and every effort must be made to insure that there is, and never has been, a threat to the country.

Apparently the Gummint in 1947 couldn't find one proof reader they could give clearance to.

Can’t help but notice that you and Goonch never really had the ability to carry on a conversation, but mainly focus on non-sequitur image posting.

How many Freeper names do you need, by the way?

Some reports have surfaced in the last 10 years indicating that our government had doings with craft in the 1930’s. It’s not yet clear what all was involved in those incidents.

IIRC there were some attempts to shoot them down with disastrous results to our air crews and craft.

One would assume that someone as aware of the military as you seem to be would realize that errors in English and spelling have been fairly common in government communications over the decades. Some folks are good at it and some are not.

I proof-read lots of traffic at one Radioman’s job . . . for proper routing etc. Often a lot of the English was overly cryptic; poorly written; and sometimes silly, vain, obtuse, and/or incomprehensible.

[Animated gif--Artist's-experiencer's rendering below]

California-11-14-08-My girlfriend and I were leaving her house to go to dinner just after 8:00 pm at Woodlake Ave. and Saticoy Blvd. Both of us were seated in my convertible with the top down. I remember there were terrible brush fires just to the north of us near Santa Clarita and the smell of smoke was heavy in the air.

Before I started my car to back out of her driveway I noticed a unusually large object in the northeastern sky that caught my attention. I have always been an airplane buff, I spent hours as a kid listening to my aircraft radio, always at the end of some runway, always one eye toward the sky, built untold plastic models.

So I know planes and can spot and classify military aircraft on sight. I have been to untold air shows and really enjoy the most exotic of aircraft, and what I saw that Friday evening frightened the hell out of me. I pointed it out to my girlfriend and she asked what it was, I replied, "Looks like a friggin' UFO to me babe!"

Just between her and her neighbors house low in the northeastern sky from up here in the foothills, an absolutely enormous V-shaped craft was lazily headed due north. Its lack of forward speed almost suggested a lighter than air vehicle if it was a reasonably sized craft, but I knew what I was seeing was either a distorted sense of scale, or this "V" had to be several hundreds of feet across MINIMUM!

There were numerous red lights visible from the lower rear, three quarters degree view we had, so we were at i's "8 o'clock low" from its vantage. As far as the number of lights I cannot say for certain, I am now uncertain if they lined the forward leading edge perimeter, or were line abreast, across the bottom surface, (ventral) at right angle to the center line on the V.

There was a reddish glow emanating or reflecting off of the bottom, almost a shimmering, with some intricate fine detail barely visible underneath, through the reddish glow I first attributed to reflection from the nearby forest fire. There were no visible means of propulsion evident.

I cannot stress the lumbering slow movement of this object away from us ,and when it passed behind a neighbor's leafless tree, I quickly sped 30 feet out of the driveway to gain a better unobstructed vantage again, away from the tree, no more than 5 seconds, it was gone!

I could not see any possible obstruction that could have prevented visual reacquisition. It just vanished! My girlfriend remembers being very aware then of numerous private and light commercial traffic in the sky, as there is always in the vicinity of the Van Nuys airport. I had this impression as well, but felt it was a result of such intense target fixation observing the object then having no stimulus directly forward tends to widen your perception from the tunnel vision we experienced.

We humans are predator by nature with both eyes fixed forward for expanded depth perception, keyed to movement. I wish I could say I photographed my sighting, but there are seldom good cameras when you need them around. I did make a crude animated .gif file the very next day to try and record the event to the best of my and my girlfriend's recollection.

I didn't come forward earlier because I have always scoffed and outwardly derided people who have claimed to have witnessed things like I now have. I didn't want to be, "one of those people," but I am now.

I'm not going to pilgrimage out to Roswell or anything or claim abduction stories, but I will share what I saw, and know to be seen by at least me and my girlfriend. Thank God she was there to back me up!

Lastly, this was above a major population area of more than 1.8 million in the valley alone, within easy visual range of one of the busiest private aviation airports in the world, Van Nuys airport. It doesn't add up?

No, and neither did most people take their bogus UFO pics with one, as they haven’t been around long.
