What I said was that, if your "100+" years before the Pilgrims landed meant 102 or more, you had the Spanish celebrating Thanksgiving outside El Paso before Cortez even landed. If it meant 101, you had it happening while Cortez was still fighting the Aztecs around Tenochtitlan.

So the ball's in your court: In what year did that Thanksgiving happen outside El Paso? Was it 1519, the year Cortez landed, or was it earlier? Or is your argument that the Pilgrims did not land in 1620, as has been widely reported, and landed in, oh, say 1700, which would be 102 years after what El Paso celebrates as the first Thanksgiving in 1598?
