i note that NOBODY is much interested in the unionist/revisionist PROPAGANDA that you post, to try desperately to cover up the WAR CRIMES & CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY committed by the DAMNyankee invaders.

especially targeted for abuse/looting/plundering/assaults/robbery/arson/rape & MURDER by the "filth that flowed down from the north" were AmerIndians,Asians, Blacks (BOTH slave & free), Catholics, Jews, Latinos & the "poorest of the poor whites".

otoh, the wealthy planters of the southland were frequently protected by the union army in return for collaborating with the enemy. in other words, the elites out of the north, in return for $$$ & information, protected the "planter aristocracy" from harm, while PREYING ON the poor & minorities.
