Not one mention of the Dursleys’ survival................

True, but seeing as how they treated Harry, I never cared to find out how they ended. There were some loose threads in other areas I would have liked to have tied up, but overall the book was excellent! I did have a feeling that the “awful” boy that Petunia talked about in OOTP was going to be Snape and not James though. Because I believe in the very first book she mentions that she never met Harry’s father, because once she determined her sister was a freak, they broke off all contact with one another.

I thought Duddikins had an awakening when they said their farewells. AND, I do think poor ‘tunie did love her sister. She even tried to get into Hogwarts to be with her. She was the one that got left behind, she was bitter.
