I think it gets resurrected once a year. Either in honor, or in mocking. OK, maybe not honor.

It is funny because I’m watching Jon Stewart, and he was commenting on how Obama apparently said he would hit up a woman for the supreme court, and Jon said, I’d hit her.... for the Supreme Court.

So “I’d hit it” is still timely and newsworthy, I guess.
