Had I not had friends at the VFW Club at the T intersection where I had been hit, I would have been a DOA. As it was, a friend who had an immense crush on me demanded that I be taken to the nearest hospital, because I “could NOT die!”
My angels were working overtime!
I’m no angel, but Somebody wanted a bunch of people to be at that spot at that moment for some reason.
Maybe I’ll find out someday.
Maybe not.
