But learned more about a "new" (in the US) product called NasalCease -- a specialized nasal packing to stop nosebleeds. The ENT doctor gave me two packs of it yesterday. It was only when the second didn't seem to be doing anything that we decided to go for help. (Used the first last night and it stopped things cold.)
Unfortunately it's not available here in town until Monday, though there's a store an hour's or so drive away that also carries it -- one of three in WA listed. Henderson and Las Vegas must have upwards of a hundred stores. Grrr...
