So you think a Mayor has the right to throw anyone out of a public place even if he or she isn’t breaking the law? Is Rudy above the law?

I support him 100%.

It was a city sponsored event.

The city invites who they want.

Arafat showed up uninvited.

Rudy, knowing a terrorist when he saw one, showed him the door and saved the city the expense of security.

That's not above the law.

It is an insult to Arafat, and I understand insulting terrorists offends some people. Doesn't offend me at all.

BTW, if you showed up uninvited at an event I was sponsoring, you'd be thrown out on your butt, and arrested if you didn't comply.

And I'm sure you'd complain I was "above the law".

Social events, they should be open to everybody.
