I guess you haven't noticed that his poll numbers have dropped dramatically? He has already "peaked" and that is not unusual, it just usually happens about nine months later which is one of the reasons that Newt Gingrich has been so critical of the campaign starting right after the mid-term elections.

And after seeing Rudy's peak and decline, the Rudy boosters apparently want Fred to make the same mistake Rudy did by entering the race waay too early.

Look at Mitt Romney. Raised 23 mil, spent nearly 12 of it, and sits at 3 percent in the polls while Fred is at 14 points without having raised a dime.

That's gotta leave a mark...

Rudy is in pretty much the same position that Howard Dean was in late 2003.
