I feel a bit disappointed simply because the song writing on the album doesn’t match the vocal talent. Too many filler lines and lame lyrics. I suppose it’s hard to find really good stuff if you are not working with a major label and if the guy has been singing great songs for three months on national tv then the quickly produced stuff isn’t going to compare.
I am also glad to hear that Bucky has a good start. Elliott and he got to be good friends and E spoke the world of him as a person.
I understand, misterrob. It's very tough for new artists without big label backing, like Elliott, to get access to top songwriting talent, and also talented backup singers, musicians, studio mixers, producers, etc.
Nevertheless, he's doing really good given the obstacles he's had to overcome.
