I loathed the awards portion...quite an embarrassing time waster. Especially BIG BIRDTHA!

I agree. It was unnecessary and uncomfortable.

I thought they might bring back the guy that sang in memory of his wife during the auditions. Maybe he didn't want to do it, but I would have much rather seen him than Midler or Green Day.

Oh my,yes i would love to hear that gentleman sing in honor of his wife again...if that were an option. If so definatly toss G D & B M & Gwen Stefani & The Sgt. Pepper stuff for him...& more of that Children’s Choir...Though singing something in English.

Thought so the 1st time I saw her reaction to him.

The only thing I don’t like about the basic yet brilliant concept of A I is the word Idol in the Title and or people’s idolesque reaction/responses!
That’s why I always abbreviate the title to A I.

The final song/send off was lack luster and plain jane compared to other endings/final song/send off’s.

There I think that about covers it re: my A I season finale thoughts!

I thought they might bring back the guy that sang in memory of his wife during the auditions. I forgot about him, he would have been a better choice! Have you watched any of the show On the LOt? That has turned out to be pretty good. They show some of the scenes they direct and there have been a few I was really impressed with.
