I watch the show. I am entertained by the show. I feel no need to be a participant. I assume that teeny boppers control the outcome and I am satisfied by that knowledge.

LaKeisha was truly a one dimensional singer, she had a bad attitude, she never took any of the advice given by the "mentors", and she dressed like a two bit street walker. As far as her skills are concerned, she did a great Aretha Franklin impersonation. But we don't need another Aretha Franklin, we already have an Aretha Franklin.
Melinda, on the other hand, was a true artist who was a thousand times more versatile than LaKeisha. Heck, Melinda is a thousand times more versatile than Fantasia, but neither of them are as versatile as Jordin. And Jordin is only 17. Melinda has been a professional singer since Jordin was in diapers and yet this kid was able to keep up with her and in many cases surpass her in technical and musical abilities.
If there is a true blue "American Idol" in this competition, it is Jordin.
I hope she wins. But I won't vote for her. It's up to the teeny boppers. It's their show.
I liked Lakisha too. I hope good things come her way.
