I do think this way is better for her career...just look at Chris Daughtry and Eliot Yamin. She gets to keep all the money she earns and doesn’t have to share it with American Idol.

I know she’ll still have a great career—it’s just so wrong that the talent this year was so lacking and the real talent gets punished because it’s not “teeny bopper” or “marketable.”
