People magazine has pulled a great coup by grabbing someone whos sure to turn more heads than anyone else this weekend: Sanjaya Malakar, the American Idol contestant whose
hilarious run on the reality show finally came to an end this week.
Sanjaya earned his 15 minutes of fame by managing to go far on the tough Idol show despite an obvious lack of talent (he was bolstered by campaigns led by radio shock jock Howard Stern and such Web sites as www.votefortheworst.com.

You need to post that over here, too. We also need to get the word out. This is precisely what I meant about not knowing how the funds were to be used. We also don’t know how the funds will be divided.

he was bolstered by campaigns led by radio shock jock Howard Stern and such Web sites as www.votefortheworst.com. Have we seen any proof of this?
Howard Stern's audience can barely get themselves out of bed in the morning, much less "sabotage" a show they claim not to watch.
And as I've said year after year, VFTW lives on it's own hype. It effects nothing.
It's the Ashley Ferls out there with their rapid-fire text messaging that kept Sanjaya on the show.

No arguement here. The fact that Sucky is gone even after having both those groups voting for him says a lot! LOL They are victims of the same malaise that Sucky has. They believe their own hype. ;)

They believe their own hype. ;)Yep :)
I didn't mean to sound short with you in my first post. I'm just so tired hearing that Stern/VFTW line.
Maybe with Sanjaya gone, they can crawl back under their rocks.

Maybe with Sanjaya gone, they can crawl back under their rocks. I doubt it. VFTW thrives on it and that's what they do. Not likely that they are going anywhere. Stern. I kind of think Stern got involved for a little free publicity.

Stern. I kind of think Stern got involved for a little free publicity. Definitely. Before this, no one had heard from Stern since he went to satellite radio.

http://www.tmz.com/2007/04/11/idol-finalist-sex-tape-nastiest-tape-ive-ever-seen/
Olivia Mojica, a top 24 contestant on Season Two of “American Idol,” has a sex tape that will be released soon, sources tell TMZ.
We’re told the tape is “very explicit” and features 40 minutes of “smoking hot sex.” One source who says he has seen the tape put it this way — “It’s the nastiest tape I’ve ever seen.”
We’re told the tape was shot with her boyfriend, but we don’t know when. A website featuring a preview of the tape will launch soon, similar to the site created specifically for Kim Kardashian’s sex tape.
We’re told Vivid Entertainment is the front-runner to distribute the tape. Steven Hirsch, co-chairman of the company, said he cannot comment at this time.
Mojica was 18 at the time of her appearance on “American Idol.” Lately, she has been singing with the East coast rock band, The Watchdogs.
Mojica could not be reached for comment.

I just saw a short clip from her movie and someday she is going to regret it....
I don’t recall her either. Likely washed out early on.

I’m surprised there haven’t been more of these tapes—LOL

I don’t know much about satellite radio. Guess I don’t see a point in paying to listen to it. Glad he’s elsewhere. Never saw whay people liked his show anyway.
