It was really refreshing last year to hear Bucky Covington do a Pat Green song.
I’d also add Faith Hill to your “gag” list...
The radio station I listen to is already playing Bucky’s song. I really like it & hope he does well. He seems like a really nice guy.
I really like Bucky. Faith has been making me gag for years. I think the clock’s ticking on that one.
Bucky has been getting some serious air time on Sirius Radio “New Country”, channel 60. In fact, they’ve got two of his songs “Bible and the Belt” and “Different World” in heavy rotation.
I’m glad to hear that. “Different World” is the one the station here has been playing. There’s a lot of truth in that song.
You can listen to his album before it’s released on Tuesday here:

I forgot to comment on this on Wednesday night, but I wanted to give props to Phil for the gentlemanly way he handled himself onstage when it was announced that Haley was the one voted off. It appeared that his first thought was to be concerned for Haley’s feelings. Good for him, even though he is hardly one of my favorites.
I noticed that too. He was very gentelmanly. But then he’s one of America’s finest. :)
Just yesterday I saw about 30 Bucky posters plastered on the outside wall of a gay bar in Phoenix. Guess he has some pretty loyal fans after all!
FYI..there’s an interesting article in the week’s NY Times magazine...(I’m not sure if it’s on the website Saturday or Sunday) titled “Is Justin Timberlake a product of Cumulative Advantage? A new theory of the hit record” It has applicability to how/why people vote on AI..
Thanks, Ken. I live in L.A., so don’t get the NY Times, but that’s an aritlce I’d like to read. Maybe it will be on their website tomorrow.
What still surprises me about Haley is that if she’s a successful wedding singer, then she has to be in at least several hundred wedding videos somewhere. You’d think by nmow that at least ONE would have been posted on YouTube. But no..not a one..
Let me know what you think...
Paris Bennett and others from last year join vote for the worst and vote for suckjaya, to show that AI is not about talent anymore.

Good point. Maybe business wasn’t so good!
Paris Bennett, wasn’t a waste when she was voted off.
1) Normal people don’t want their private wedding videos plastered on youtube to be gawked at.
2) Most wedding videos concentrate on the happy couple plus the family and friends, not a complete stranger who is singing in the background.
Disagree..do the math..guesstimate that she’s performed at 250 weddings...probably more. 60% or more are videotaped ..that’s 150...at least 50% would probably have a few minutes of film of the band..at the least in a background shot of everyone on the dance floor. That’s 75...now you and I may be private people..but millions more on YouTube aren’t..so ONE out of 75 wouldn’t post a snippet ot video?
I agree with you. We video taped the band at our wedding, we even took still shots of the band. Wedding are such festive events and lots of people at them are video taping, not just the bridal couple. Hard to believe that a guest at a wedding that she would have sung at hasn’t posted something.
I have cousins that played in wedding bands and they used to have tapes of themselves that they hand to inquirers so that they could see them ‘on the job’. Can’t believe that she wouldn’t have done the same.
