Probably because they blew the wardrobe budget on green cloth and diamonds. I tyink they get a clothing allowance and the diamonds were probably 'on loan'.

I tried to be a hippie but failed miserably. I was into acid rock and early metal. I was devastated when Cream broke up. Alvin Lee is still my guitar hero. I have two versions of I'm Goin' Home on my IPOD. (plus Heartbreaker, Living Loving Maid and Iron Man of course)
