ITA with everything you said. I really makes no sense. It was funny who Clive just glossed over the fact that Taylor’s album is “just” platinum, like that’s something to be ashamed of! There are TONS of musicians out there who would give their right arms to have “just” a platinum album!
I’m sure they would rather have had McPhee win, but she didn’t so get over it. I guess they don’t have that saying, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade,” in England. Not saying Taylor is a lemon, but you know what I mean- you make do with what ya git! ;-)

The only thing I don’t like about the basic yet brilliant concept of A I is the word Idol in the Title and or people’s idolesque reaction/responses! That’s why I always abbreviate the title to A I.
Thought this could ues more clarification...You most likekly get my meaning Jonny but for those who don't here goes...
By responses I don't mean replies on the AI Thread...I mean Fanatic responses like Ashley's...Emotional over kill not written responses.
Because of the time zone difference I couldn't let You know in time to see that the top 10 A I Finalists...All 10 were on "Larry King Live" last night. I noticed as I was flipping through the tv channels last night.
Phil confirmed that The Navy will allow him to do the Summer tour!!!!

‘Idol’ was probably for lack of a better title. I’m just glad it wasn’t American POP Idol. At any rate, American Idol sounds better than American Singer.

American Singer was a consideration? If so, tis an equal mis-title. Still, I don’t care for the use of Idol in the title no matter what. But like I can change it...(I can’t.)

I was just pointing out that American Singer doesn’t have a ‘ring’ to it. I have no idea what titles were considered. A lot of times, titles are chose by how easily the title rolls off the tongue.

Rocker Ozzy Osbourne pulled out of an appearance on American Idol because of a former contestant’s hairstyle, according to reports.
The Black Sabbath star was slated to duet with Sanjaya Malakar at last week’s (ends25May07) season finale, but cancelled at the last minute.
A source tells the New York Post’s Page Six column, “When he learned he would have to do a duet with Sanjaya, Ozzie said he didn’t want to be onstage with that idiot.”
Osbourne is also reported to have called Malakar “a hairstyle-challenged idiot”.
Aerosmith star Steve Perry was called up as Osbourne’s replacement on the talent-search TV show.
