Very interesting. Guess he's too big of a star (wait a sec...I have to stop laughing so I can finish my post...okay, I'm better....no I'm not...hahahahhahahahaha!) to be polite. He's such a tool. Little anecdotes like that get around.

Crazy does not begin to describe him. Check out his autobiography...interesting to say the least.

Funny thing is, his definition of "punk" is something that is inherently unsustainable. Punk is completely anti-trend. Once "punk" caught on in the 70's, by definition, it should have been abandoned. Lydon ripped his fans who dressed like him because, in order to be punk, you had to do something completely different. Also by his definition, it is impossible to have any true punk band ever again because it has already been done.

That being said, early Green Day (Dookie and Nimrod)has punk roots based on The Sex Pistols, The Ramones, etc. American Idiot had punk influences but was far more of an alternative rock record.

In closing, the candidates found out at 8:07 AM PST that Jordin won. There was some guy named Simon Fuller who allegedly is a key guy on the Idols staff told Stephanie by mistake actually. Word spread quickly. Also found out that many were expecting the Fantasia dominance (voting-wise), but that didn‚t quite happen. There was no press allowed this time, so as far as they know, none of this stuff is public knowledge.

So, what, they know already? And have to pretend to be surprised tonight???

My “Dream” show would consist of Haley and Kat McPhee singing in a competition to see which one can wear the skimpiest bikini! Now that would be something!
