Between "Idol Gives Back", (what a sham) and the judges inconsistent comments, I fear the show has come perilously close to jumping the shark. Agree. This year has been the worst.

They show the full homecoming footage tonight.
*cough* filler *cough*
First up is Jordin. She returns to Glendale, Arizona. She gets a parade, an estimated crowd of 10,000 and a big welcome back at her high school.
After singing to the crowd, she's ushered back to her limo. Once inside, she breaks down and cries.
Back live, Seacrest recaps the judges comments from last night.
Could they eliminate someone this early???
Of course not.
It's all a tease. Seacrest promises we'll find out Jordin's fate "a little later", like the last five minutes of the show.
In the meantime, we'll see performances from Elliott Yamin and Maroon 5.
