I don't like polls these days for a variety of reasons
There maybe a lot of reasons to not like them but you have to have something to gauge where one stands. What else would you suggest to get a gauge of where a candidate stands in relationship to the voting populace.
People on this forum actually denigrated the polls in the fall of 06 and said it was the MSM and others trying to sway the voter.... That may have been present in the push polling but the bottom line it the polls were correct and the GOP got waxed.
Good, bad or indifferent they are a tool to be used and at leased examined. jmo.
