He was a serious surprise. If he loses some weight and gets a make-over, who knows. He might not be all that bad looking underneath that mop.
I totally expected Sligh to be a "goof" after watching his intro. After listening to him though and checking out his blog (which will likely be shut down soon), I see that the guy is a real singer, as well as an insightful guy with astute musical taste. First contestant for me this year (besides my Kevin Bacon-like connection to Tatayana) that interested me beyond the singing.
