First girl, Erika, sings Unchained Melody ... ugh terrible. Her mom and friends have their ears pressed through the door. Mom: "I have chills."

The girl can't carry a tune.

Simon: "A never ending torture."

Girl: "I'm nervous."

They all tell her no, no, no, but she keeps singing.

Paula gets out of her seat--she can't stand it.

Girl: "I wish they had been a little nicer."
