I'm just not that amused by the geeks and losers -- so many of them are just sad. They want it so badly and they haven't a prayer. (I have to admit, though, that I am frequently amused by the expressions on the faces of the three judges -- it's pretty clear what they are thinking most of the time! LOL!)

My oldest daughter watches the show with me, and she will laugh a little at the bad singers, but she gets so upset if the judges go to far in being critical. She says it's so mean, just say no and have them leave. She can't bear to see them get their feelings hurt. Then I feel guilty for laughing so much.
