Ya Know R.P. perhaps this comparison may make sense. I'll bet you that if Custer had a choice he would re think his position in his war. We are using a Custer mentality when I believe a different approach may do a better job and serve the Country and the people better. These are our fellow citizens we are waging a war against not the drug they are using. We should help our fellow citizens when applicable not send in Storm troopers who are fired up anyway due to the real threats they face everday. That's how accidental killings occur. As someone told me a thief should not suffer the death penalty, neither should someone at home using for themselves. Remember R. P I'm not advocating protecting violent criminals. Or selling to children or anything like that.

"Or selling to children or anything like that."

Really? What if you could be convinced that teen drug use would double if drugs were legalized?

Wait. Maybe that's too much of a stretch for you. Let's say teen drug use would increase 10% if drugs were legalized (like alcohol).

Would you still favor legalization? If so, then you favor increased teen use.

No, you don't favor selling to children or anything like that. But if more children use drugs, you couldn't care less. Same thing in my book.
