Compliance costs and regulations are not taxes. And yes, the vast majority of taxes are paid by individuals and in most cases show up on pay stubs. So what I said was not wrong. There will be some savings in compliance costs, but not nearly the amount that fairtaxers want to claim. And for the most part, regulations will still be in place and do not come into play in this discussion.
