My post was just based upon my own past experience. I remember one of the elders actually making a statement to the press, which was so out of the norm, thanking Delawareasns for the outpouring of assistance to the family.
The damage of that crash was horrendous, the girl that was able to make it to somewhere to get help had a broken arm and/or dislocated collar bone. The young man now in a wheel chair also needed to have much of his face reconstructed. He had been taken to Johns Hopkins the distance was a tremendous strain on the family because none drove. They never had a problem getting a ride to Baltimore.
I have no doubt the "English" community in Lancaster County will do anything less to help these families.
