..but even if I get flamed, I wondered the same thing....
..We hear pregnant moms were allowed to leave...moms with babies were allowed to leave...
...We don't know what truly happened....and we only have hingsight and even the memory of the mad gunman in Scotland who shot up a kindergarten class....
..and were left with the memory of the kindergarten teacher dying trying to protect the little ones in her care by covering some with her own body.
I haven't read all the posts, but I think Txbubba is haunted by the thought of little ones watching moms and teacher leave before they are gunned down......
..it's horrifying.
We don't even know if one of the moms had to leave her own daughter.
Speculation is only making it worse for us here.
"I haven't read all the posts, but I think Txbubba is haunted by the thought of little ones watching moms and teacher leave before they are gunned down......"
I think you just said it perfectly. "haunted"...yes.
To be real honest, I was appalled when heard that a teacher left and ran from the school. BUT, we have no idea of the circumstances and can think of all kinds of scenarios that could have been unfolding along with panic. But it is clear that her presence in that room was not going to save those kids.
I don't think TXBubba should have been flamed and zotted off the thread. Why is not okay to simply wonder why the teachers left the room? I think it is important to talk about situations like this and what one might do considering the apparent increase in this kind of violence. Remember that kid last week, the one who lied and said he stayed behind with the girls in room at the school in CO. The mother said her son lied because he wanted for it to be true. Maybe that kid is now haunted by leaving the room. Who knows? When Sean Hannity said people "eat their own" on this board, he might have been right.
Unless you've ever been threatened by a madman with a gun, you have no place to say, "I would have done blah-blah-blah..."
