She first said they were never criticised. I said she was wrong. She then shifted the goalposts and said they didn't lose their jobs. I wasn't even commenting on that. She changed the argument to make herself right.

It looks like to some conservatives that comments are fine if the one making them is a conservative as well, so it goes both ways.

I say her essential point (there is a HUGE double standard) is well taken.

I'll sum it up. Merl Gibson said some idiotic, bigoted things. Let's not let the media or the left use it to smear and defame conservatives, turning attentuion away from their own sizable, rabidly anti-semitic constituencies...
