Because ID ISN'T scientific. It wants the label of science though in order to do so the definition of science would have to be altered to include untestable claims.

Has science no interest in this possibility? To deny it as a possibility ... is quite limiting. Don't you think?

Aren't you interested in going right up to the threshold of this possibility instead of denying it as a possibility because you think science cannot do it?

This is my definition of open mindedness. I do not know how anyone can postulate a-theism, "blind watchmaking" and pan spermia as "more scientific" and open minded.

This is where scientists who are willing to be open to all possibilities (ID) seem to be taking the lead, especially via discoveries in cosmology.
