There's nothing wrong with teaching ones' children the responsibilities of lawn care. If you are creative you can make a lesson out of it each time they cut the grass or make a competition out of it, it's up to you and your imagination. Geometry, horticulture, chemistry, mechanical upkeep and care of tools etc. Lots of good solid life's lessons can be learned from just cutting the lawn.

That's not what I'm talking about...I want you to tell me that you have no problem with your kid making a career out of cutting grass, then send him to me to cut mine.
